    Eastern region Emana, The Royal Commission, and Aramco are reviewing on Wednesday the reasons behind projects failures and how to overcome them

    November 4, 2015, their experiences as part of the “development projects, realities, and aspirations.”  Forum, which Asharqia Chamber is organizing in cooperation with the eastern region, Emarah. The crown prince, Saud ibn Nayed, Eastern region governor and it will be held in the chamber’s head office in Dammam, would sponsor the forum.  
     
    The forum would introduce Fahad bin Mohammed Al-Jubeir, Mayor of Eastern Region as part of its scientific program sessions to speak about the reality of the development projects in the region. Whereas Motaz bin Abdulaziz Al-Mashouq, the executive director of the general and infrastructure projects in Aramco would speak about the company’s experience in managing development projects as well as the exceptional standards that were followed to achieve these great useful results. Eng. Ziyad Bin Mohammed Al-Shiha, the CEO in Saudi electricity company, will represent a paper that discusses the opportunities and challenges any development project can face. It will also include the company’s experience in the development projects Dr.Musleh Al-Otaibi, Chief Executive of Royal Commission will also speak about the commission’s experience in the same domain as well.
     
    Abdullatif bin Abulamlik Alshaikh, the minister of the of municipal and rural affairs would be a key speaker at the forum, amongst some notable names from all different sectors in the area. The forum will discuss the importance of planning and having a clear vision of the studies and designing phase, as well as studying the nature of the project and the execution requirements. The forum would include participations that discuss financial planning, technical planning, and other participations.  The forum reviews the most prominent and successful experiences of companies that have introduced successful projects, as well as the ways to overcome the difficulties that development projects might face by reviewing many approaches to overcoming such issues.  It looks forward to the development role of the private sector in the area, by encouraging the activities and events that attract investments to Saudi.
